Question:  Are you a flooring store?

Answer:  We are not a retail flooring store.  We are flooring brokers, much like a mortgage broker.  We work with customers and flooring retailers alike.  What we do is firstly, remove the consumer headache of calling from store to store to get the best pricing.  We eliminate the tedious and annoying process of customers having to constantly repeat and ask the same questions to each store called.  Secondly, we find the best pricing possible by searching multiple stores in a vast region. Most customers are unaware of exactly how the flooring industry works and so they are not able to properly leverage deals as they believe they are stuck to just their region.

Question:  Do we pay you for the floors?

Answer:  No, you will not need to send us any money.  This is a free service to you.  We put consumers and retailers together.  We work in your best interest and aim to create a win-win scenario between customers looking for the best customer service, the easiest process and of course the best price, and stores who are looking to compete.  You will pay the retail flooring store that we find has the best deal for you.  Invoices will come directly from the flooring retailer.

Question: How do The Flooring Brokers get paid?

Answer:  Just like a mortgage broker, we are paid by the retailers for bringing them a customer that they may have never had before.  So we are offered preferential pricing of which we pass on to you.

Question:  How do I know what floors to buy if I haven't been to a store to see a sample?

Answer:  No problem, if you do not know what floors you want to buy and need to see samples, reach out to us by filling out our form.  We will set you up with a retailer which we know and trust and we can often get you better pricing than if you were to walk into the store on your own.

Question:  I already know what floors I want to buy.  What should I do next?

Answer:  That's the perfect scenario for us and you.  Fill out our form and we will find the best deal for you whether it exist in your city or not.

Question:  I've already been into a store and have been helped by the staff there.  Can you still help me get a better deal at the same store I've been viewing samples at?

Answer:  The short answer is yes.  We do not aim to poach or steal sales from retailers however, we do put our customers first and will do everything we can to find  you the best deal.  So, it is in your best interest to reach out to us by filling out our form and let us see what we can do for you to negotiate a better deal on your behalf.  If a retailer has offered you a great deal and we know it, then we will tell you straight and honestly that the deal is good and to move forward with the purchase.  If we believe we can find a better deal elsewhere for the same product, then we will find it.

Question:  Are there particular stores you work with?

Answer:  Yes and no.  We aim to find our customers the best possible pricing available and are willing to search every and anywhere to find the best deals.  However, having said that, we do find some retailers much better to work with than others and so we focus our energy on them and press them for the best pricing.  We will not work with retailers that we don't think offer a good customer experience. Pricing is obviously a major component but customer service is almost just as important and so we only want to work with retailers that we trust.  After all, you will be purchasing floors from them and so we have to be sure that the experience from beginning to end is a positive one for you.

Question:  How long does it take to get a quote?

Answer:  We aim to get quotes within 1-2 hours.  Although often times, it can be quicker and the odd time longer.  However, we guarantee a quote within 24 hours.

Question:  What is the "Group Buy" feature?

Answer:  To get exceptional pricing, we combine customers purchasing power to bring down the price of  a particular floor available from a retailer.  We post the current price and  the current square footage ordered and as more buyers come on board to purchase, we constantly lower the price per square foot.  The "Group Buy" features is especially great for contractors.

Question:  What is the "Hot Deals" section?

Answer:  Every now and then retailers or suppliers will have blowout deals.  We post them for our customers to see and take advantage of.

Question:  I've accept your quote and would like to move forward with the purchase.  Now what?

Answer:  Excellent.  We contact the retailer and have them invoice you.  From there, it's business as usual with the retailer.  Usually a retailer will require a 50% deposit which is pretty standard.  Often retailers will accept e-transfer.  They will then place your order.

Question:  I need delivery.  Can you help me?

Answer:  Yes, we can help.  We can help facilitate this service as we have delivery truck services available to us.
